Metal Heights was my one of my first times experimenting with a welder. I set out to create a piece that defied gravity and created visual interest.

The shapes ascend vertically in a zig-zag nature that gives it the appearance of a unstable, angular mess that has managed to find a balance.

The sculpture's angularity and its balance gives it a unique, modern feel, evoking ideas of structure and design.
