Mushroom Clouds was my first time ever grinding away at Plywood with artistic intent. I set out to create a natural space with stoney cups designed to carry utilitarian items like keys, coins, ect.
I glued some plywood rectangles together, to get some change in elevation. I then did multiple grinding sessions on the base, creating river grooves and natural waves to achieve the final result.
The mushrooms came to be by gluing smaller, rectangular chunks of plywood together, and sanding them into a finished look.
I attached the mushrooms to the base using wooden dowels and glue.
